Mission Announcements

Can you believe we are down to one month!  One month and we will be taking Jackson to the MTC!  Mission announcements have been sent out . . . hope you are able to come and hear Jackson speak!

Just A Few More Odds and Ends . . .

We're down to 37 days until Jackson leaves.  He purchased his luggage today.  We stopped at Missionary Mall on our way down to Grandpa M.'s annual Pumpkin Party.  Jackson also picked up some slacks from CTR Clothing that were being altered.

We just have a few more odds and ends to buy and he will be ready to embark on an opportunity of a lifetime!

Missionary Photos

Today we took Jackson down to Thanksgiving Point to get his Missionary Photos taken.  They turned out great!  It was a perfect day to have photos taken!  Here is a sneak peak . . .

The Temple

Jackson received his endowment at the Manti Temple today.  

It was such a beautiful day!

Our family got sealed together at the Manti Temple 18 years ago.  The Manti Temple is a very special temple for our family.  Jackson selected that temple because of the significance it has to our family.

Jackson was able to meet with President Slack, 1st Counselor of the Manti Temple Presidency.  President Slack talked with Jackson and gave him a lot of great advice for his mission.  President Slack gave Jackson a 2 dollar bill.  He told Jackson to carry it with him to remind him of the duration of the mission is 2 years, 2 also signifies Jackson and his companion and also Jackson and the Lord.

After the temple session, we went to Los Amigos to get a bite to eat.  We thought it would be appropriate to eat some yummy Mexican Food to celebrate Jackson's upcoming Mission to Tijuana!
  
Jackson's friend, Austin Guevara is attending Snow College.  He met up with us to get a bite to eat.  It was good to visit with him.

It was a great day!  We have such a wonderful family that always supports us in all we do!
